I live in Johannesburg South Africa.

My company is Focus Garden Products Pty Ltd. This company was founded 14 years ago to market world class gardening products to the South African retail trade. Before this and as a qualified chemical engineer, I spent 27 years working in the biochemical and polymer industries in the UK and South Africa.

My involvement with the world's best is how I really discovered what works and what doesn't.

I have also been privileged to share lots of time with characters and true experts like Peter Waddington, the author of the very best koi book ever written namely "Koi Kitchi" and with Nigel Caddock publisher of the world famous "Nishikigoi International" magazine and top notch landscaper and author Peter J May, The Perfect Pond Detective. From these three friends in particular I learned what was truly important.

In 2000 my first edition of "The Complete Pond Solver" was published although the title then was different. It was initially titled as "Your Pond Crystal Clear Water Guaranteed". This book is now in its 5th edition as . It is simply aimed at providing world class unbiased practical money-saving advice and assistance found nowhere else.

For 5 years we have published thousands of web pages aimed at helping anybody with a pond problem.
